Tandoori Chicken

Spicy, moist and flavorful chicken marinated in yogurt and tandoori spice baked to perfection!


2 Chicken breast cut into 1 inch

1 Tablespoon minced ginger

1 Tablespoon minced garlic

1 Thai chili minced

1 ½ Teaspoon salt

½ lemon squeezed

1 Tablespoon honey

3 tbsp. SpicyAffair Tandoori masala (or you can buy store bought)

1/2 cup Greek yoghurt or any thick yoghurt

2-3 Tablespoon oil

½ Cup fresh coriander leaves finely chopped


1. Cut the chicken breasts into small chunks. I cut each breast into 3-4 strips lengthwise, and then each strip.

2. In a separate bowl combine all the wet ingredients, yoghurt, coriander leaves and Tandoori masala mix well, add the marinated chicken and leave for min 4-6hrs or overnight if possible.

3. Preheat oven to 375 degrees, line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil, on top of the paper/foil place a cooking rack that fits the tray, spray with oil then place the chicken on the rack and bake for 20-25mins and broil on high for the last 5- 7mins. You can also Barbeque in an outdoor grill!

Serve it with raita as an appetizer or with rice as a main meal.
